We got on the road a little later than anticipated thanks to mom’s late night viewing of the Disney show. Had we left early like planned we would have made a quick stop at Six Flags Over Georgia but we never did make it in time. We had a long 7 hour drive to get to the Atlanta Braves game. We did have an hour to kill before the game so we stopped at Tanger outlets and did a little bit of shopping. The highway to the game was a little jammed so we took some back roads to get to the game, we got to see some of the suburbs of Atlanta and they were quite beautiful.
Once we got to the stadium we ran to our seats and the game started. The Braves played against the Colorado Rockies. The game got exciting when in the second and third innings the Braves got 3 runs in and were ahead for the rest of the game. The innings went quickly and it was already the 7 inning, the Braves were still ahead, we knew they were going to win. Then all of a sudden in the 8th inning they changed the pitcher and a blink of an eye, the other team was tied. We blinked one more time in the 9th inning and the Rockies were ahead due to some major errors by the Braves and the game ended. I guess our losing streak is not over.
After the game we stopped for the night at Josh and Tiersha’s apartment. Tiersha was in California but lucky for us Josh and Charlotte were still in Atlanta. We chatted with Josh for a little bit telling him about our crazy trip and plans and headed to bed. In the morning Charlotte was awake and she was definitely a little shy to see us. Her shyness let up after we asked her a few questions she enjoyed. As time rolled by we had a quick breakfast and off we went to the North.
